Barcelos is the land of the Rooster, and that presence quietly runs through Almada 505. It is both an emotional link to where I come from and a taste for a popular visual language that mixes colour, symbol and memory without losing elegance.
The paintings on the walls are by AFMACH, a painter from Barcelos. Several craft pieces were made by artisans from Barcelos, and even the Avianense chocolates come from a village in the Barcelos area.
In the end, there is a quiet thread connecting the apartment to that place of origin: art, craft and objects with identity. The wine bottle, though... that one really is from Porto wine.

These images show the apartment at its most balanced: two bedrooms, three bathrooms, an open social area and the small balcony that extends the natural light.

Almada 505 is in a very practical position for combining the historic centre, Trindade, downtown Porto and the main places of interest without always depending on transport. The map marks the apartment and a short set of references that make the city easier to read from day one.
